NAMA Debuts ‘Essence Of Coffee Education’ Program At CTW

CHICAGO -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association will introduce its “Essence of Coffee” educational program at its Coffee, Tea and Water Show, which will take place Nov. 12 to 14 at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans.

The new program will deliver content specifically tailored to help sales professionals, managers, route sales representatives and others who direct the growth of business be at the cutting edge of today’s coffee experience.

This quintessential four-module coffee education series will take participants on a journey starting with the origin of coffee to roasting, grinding, blending and creating the finished product. They will learn about the coffee service industry’s evolution, and explore new ways of growing sales and enhancing the customer experience.

It will begin with Coffee Concepts on Monday, Nov. 12 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This block starts with the origin and history of coffee and then explores roasting, blending and the finished product. It’s In the Cup will follow on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Participants will sample a variety of flavor profiles and blends, and continue with an overview of brewing equipment and the experience offered to the customer.
