NAMA Chief Keynotes China Vending Show

-- The 3rd annual China International Vending Systems & Commercial Self-Service Products Exhibition is slated for the Shanghai Mart here from July 20 through 22, and industry leaders from around the world will attend.

National Automatic Merchandising Association president and chief executive officer Richard M. Geerdes has been invited to deliver an official address at the opening of the event, which is expected to draw some 20,000 visitors interested in learning more about developments and trends. Geerdes also will lead a keynote seminar on the development of the vending industry in the United States.

Representatives of the European Vending Association, the Worldwide Vending Association and the Japan Vending Machine Manufacturers Association also will take part in the China show.

Catherine Piana, secretary-general of EVA and chief executive officer of WVA, will lead a keynote seminar on July 21, tracing the evolution of vending in Europe.

Takashi Kurosaki, director-general of JVMA, will deliver a keynote speech on the Japanese vending industry. He plans to lead a delegation of 15 to 20 professional visitors.

The show is supported by the Automatic Vending Association (Great Britain and Ireland), EVA, JVMA, NAMA and WVA. It is sponsored by the All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce and China Tongyuan Corp. Information is available online at vendingshow.com.
