Moscow Expocentre Hosts Next Vendexpo, WRS5 On Mar. 25-27, 2019

MOSCOW, Russia  — Building on the success of this year's Vendexpo, the vending industry in Russia is planning next year's show for March 25 through 27. The 13th International Exhibition of Vending Technologies (Vendexpo) and the 4th World Retail Smart Solutions and Self-Service Systems Exhibition (WRS5) again will be held at the Expocentre exhibition hall here.

VendExpo and WRS5 are key events for the vending industry in Russia and the nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States. Over the 13 years of its existence, more than 700 companies and 30,000 visitors have participated in the exhibition.

In 2018 the Exhibition grew substantially in comparison with 2017. Some 150 brands displayed their products and services, among them 33 first-time exhibitors. The number of participants also increased by 30% over the prior year.

Among exhibitors of novel concepts at the last Vendexpo were Oranfresh, an Italian manufacturer of machines selling fresh juice; Giesecke+Devrient, German developers and suppliers of leading solutions in cash recirculation; Televend company from Croatia developing telemetry systems for vending; and many more. Rhea¬vendors East participated again and presented a product range of floor standing and table-top coffee machines.

The business programs also were well-attended, especially sessions devoted to Federal Law FZ-54 and new fiscal solutions. Other topics included equipment leasing, effective marketing instruments and the vending industry's regional opportunities and challenges.

In 2018, for the first time, the exhibition was co-located with the international Buyerbrand Franchise Exhibition. The event's organizers reports that this parallel exhibition created unique synergy, and the co-location will be repeated again next year.

In 2019, an extensive range of technologies is expected to be showcased at the exhibition. Five months before showtime,  more than 70 brands have expressed a desire to take part in the exhibition. These include Bianchi, the Evoca Group (formerly N&W), Rhea¬vendors East, Moscow Sales Auxiliary Plant (MSAP), ICT and many others. Not only vending machines but also cutting-edge hotel, restaurant and catering solutions, pure water dispensers, innovative IT business solutions, cash register equipment, self-service systems, including self-service car washes, self-service laundries and many others will be showcased at the exhibition.

More than 50 speakers will take part in the education program accompanying the exhibits, sharing their practical experience and discussing business cases.

The Best Vending Beverage contest organized by EMTG company with the support of the "RosChaiCofe" (Russian Tea and Coffee Association) will be held as part of the exhibition. The event is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, supported by the Russian national vending association RNVA (literally NAAT, National Association of Automated Trades) and Opora Rossii, the All-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses.

The Moscow Expocentre Central Exhibition Complex is located at Krasnopresnenskaya nab., 14.
