Michigan's Continental Acquires 24 Hr. Vending

TROY, MI -- Continental, a leading foodservice management company based here, has acquired 24 Hr. Vending LLC (Brighton, MI). The entire 24 Hr. Vending LLC staff will join the Continental team.

24 Hr. Vending brings Continental a client base of office coffee, traditional vending, and micromarket customers built over its 18 years in business.

"The team from 24 Hr. Vending is known for building excellent client relationships and providing outstanding customer service which perfectly complements our core values," said Steve LaPorte, president of Continental's refreshment services group. "We are excited to be able to enhance service with innovative technologies, and fresh offerings, for a new group of customers."

This is the second acquisition for Continental since late 2017, when it acquired Satellite Vending Co.

Continental dining, refreshment and event services for more than 700 small and medium-sized businesses, blue-chip corporations, colleges, universities, business and industrial sites, and hospitals and medical centers. Its custom-tailored services range from onsite corporate cafés, grab-and-go markets and traditional vending to off-premise catering and event services.

The Troy, MI, company said it will be making additional strategic investments in innovation and technology to "enrich the customer experience in its entire portfolio of services."
