FAYETTEVILLE, TN -- USA Technologies Inc. has reported that Lincoln County Vending, a Canteen franchise based here, is upgrading additional machines to USAT's ePort Connect cashless payment platform, taking the technology systemwide.

To date, with approximately 95% of the additional deployment completed, USAT said Lincoln County Vending has seen a migration of 23% of its average machine sales to cashless usage.

Lincoln County Vending operates snack, beverage and food machines in southern and middle Tennessee. All of its machines will now accept cash, credit/debit cards and contactless payments, including mobile wallet payments such as Android Pay and Apple Pay, through USAT's NFC-capable ePort Connect cashless payment system.

"For 20 years, we have remained committed to bringing our customers the most advanced technology, the best products customized to their needs, and the best service possible," said Lincoln County Vending operations manager Kevin Posey. "Enabling consumers to pay with their preferred payment method, whether it be card, mobile phone or cash, doesn't just ensure we are delivering on that promise, but makes sound business sense."

He added that by equipping its machines with USAT's ePort Connect, Lincoln County Vending has seen an increase in sales, while gaining greater visibility into the purchase behavior of its customers to ensure that it's meeting their needs.

As part of the agreement, Lincoln County has signed up for USAT's Premium Support Service offerings, which provide customers access to a bundle of support services including deployment planning, project management, installation support, training, and marketing support and consultation, mobile payment and loyalty programs and, in some cases, funding support.
