Song Bird jukebox stand, Legacy Coin-Operated Distributors MYRTLE BEACH, SC -- Legacy Coin-Operated Distributors has announced an update to its line of Song Bird floorstands for TouchTunes' Virtuo "smart" jukebox. The first Song Bird stands were introduced earlier this year.

TouchTunes' Virtuo was designed for mounting to a wall, and is styled to resemble a giant smartphone. It incorporates a camera that permits it to double as a photobooth in suitable locations. Legacy's stands give operators the option of placing a Virtuo in situations where a freestanding jukebox is desired. | SEE STORY

The stands are available in two styles, one of which accommodates the TouchTunes dye-sublimation photo printer to support the jukebox's photobooth option. They measure 43" W. x 30" D. x 64" H. (74" H. with the jukebox installed). The floor stands are built with durable wood and covered with Rhino Lining for a slip-resistant anti-abrasion finish that withstands corrosion and chemicals. The materials and construction reduce noise from vibration and impact. Both cabinets are fitted with chrome corners, and incorporate an eye-catching LED-backlit "shadow box" panel. Legacy reports that the proprietary subwoofer system optimizes bass reflection.

TouchTunes, Legacy Amp The Song Bird stands are available with built-in IcePower sound systems, including midrange speakers and subwoofer. The IcePower DA950-U module [pictured here] incorporates a class D amplifier; according to Legacy, it represents improved performance in comparison to the older DA415 while retaining its compact form factor.

The sound system offers pushbutton-selectable three- or four-channel operating modes, allowing two full-range stereo outputs or one midrange- and high-frequency stereo output plus one bass output. Two balanced inputs allow daisy chaining.

The sound system features mute input, pop suppression during turn-on and turn-off, and a high-speed switching power supply with over-current and thermal shutdown protection. It runs on 85-132VAC, drawing a maximum 1,000W.

Song Bird stands are available for retrofitting to existing TouchTunes jukes or pre-configured by Legacy.
