IRVING, TX -- LAI Games unveiled a baseball-themed redemption game, Hyperpitch, at this year's Southwest Bowling Proprietors Trade Show at the Sheration DFW here. Hyperpitch is a one- or two-player baseball-style pitching game designed to be equally rewarding whether played individually or with a friend. Each player gets three attempts to pitch a ball at the bullseye in a contest of speed against accuracy.

LAI games sales vice-president Chris Brady observed that "Normally, we save our new games for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo. But with the great support we've received from Mike Logan and his team, and the incredible growth we've seen in the bowling industry for the past few years, we knew that this would be a great show for the world premiere of Hyperpitch."

The new ticket redemption game features dynamic chase lights that pursue the ball down a hypertunnel while explosive sound effects create an overwhelming sensation of power as the ball hits the target. Hyperpitch creates a social competitive atmosphere that draws a crowd.

LAI Games, a subsidiary of Helix Leisure, has been a leader in the interactive entertainment and game industry for more than six decades. The company develops, manufactures, and sells coin and card operated virtual reality, prize merchandising, video and ticket redemption games, photobooths and novelties.
