WATERBURY, VT -- Keurig Green Mountain Inc. is partnering with Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the maker of Budweiser and Corona beer, to develop an in-home cup-at-a-time alcoholic drink system.

The collaboration will build on the Keurig's short-lived Kold beverage machine, which made cold drinks, and Belgium-based AB InBev's brewing and packaging technology, to produce beer, spirits, cocktails and mixers. The partnership will focus on North America.

Employees for the joint venture will come from the current AB InBev and Keurig teams. They will be located in facilities in Massachusetts and Vermont.

Keurig did not provide any specifics about the machine or when it will be available.
