BURLINGTON, MA -- New for home users, and perhaps a glimpse at things to come for the away-from-home market, is the Keurig K-Duo Essentials multifunction coffee maker that allows users to brew a single cup using K-Cup capsules and a carafe of coffee using ground coffee.

Keurig Dr Pepper's latest machine can brew an 8-, 10-, or 12-fl.oz. cup or 12-cup carafe, with a 60-fl.oz. water reservoir. The brewer can fit a flat-bottom, paper filter that is compatible with a 12-cup coffee maker. The included glass carafe sits atop a heating plate.

For now, the K-Duo Essentials coffee maker will be sold exclusively at Wal-Mart and retails for $99.
