VANCOUVER, BC, Canada -- Kabam and Dave & Buster's (Dallas, TX) have teamed up in the debut of an arcade version of Kabam's award-winning Marvel Contest of Champions game.

The Kabam mobile game, introduced for iOS and Android mobile devices in December 2014, was honored with the  App Store's Editors' Choice.

The new arcade version, co-developed with celebrated game designer Raw Thrills (Skokie, IL), has rolled out in Dave & Busters' 122 high-volume restaurant and entertainment complexes in North America. Watch YouTube video below:

Anyone who visits a Dave & Buster's family entertainment center can start a new Contest of Champions game to earn a Champion Card, with an invitation to duel against a friend (or the game) by assembling teams of Marvel Super Heroes and Super Villains. With more than 70 of these Marvel Champions to collect – and  more to come soon – players can build their own rosters of fan-favorite Marvel Champions.

Marvel Contest of Champions goes beyond the films, diving deep into the Marvel Universe. Super Heroes and Super Villains from Marvel's Avengers, The Defenders, Guardians of the Galaxy, Inhuman and X-Men, among others battle it out in iconic Marvel locations, following an epic storyline that stays true to classic Marvel storytelling.

Kabam is a world leader of massively multiplayer games for mobile devices. It has studios and offices in Vancouver, San Francisco, CA, and Austin, TX, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Netmarble.

Marvel Entertainment, LLC a wholly owned subsidiary of The Walt Disney Co., is one of the world's most prominent character-based entertainment companies. Marvel's licensed character franchises have found widespread use in entertainment, publishing, games and digital media.

Dave & Buster's, which dates back to 1982, is one of the pioneers in defining the modern family entertainment center business.

Raw Thrills has been involved in the development of many arcade pieces based on popular console and mobile games.
