Just Born Names Parker, Pye To VP Posts

Kathleen Parker

BETHLEHEM, PA -- Just Born Inc. has hired Kathleen Parker as vice-president of marketing and innovation. The candy company also promoted Matthew Pye to vice-president of trade relations and corporate affairs.

Parker is responsible for marketing Peeps, Mike And Ike, Hot Tamales and Goldenberg's Peanut Chews candies, and bringing new Just Born products to market. 

She has 30 years experience in the food industry, most recently as vice-president of new products and marketing at Kraft Foods, where she led growth of iconic brands like Oreos and launched Nabisco 100-calorie packs and Ritz Chips, among other new products.

Matthew Pye

Pye most recently served as Just Born's vice-president of marketing. In his new post, he is responsible for building relationships with customers, suppliers and industry associations. He will represent the interests of the company in governmental and regulatory issues affecting the confectionery industry and will head up Just Born's public relations and community outreach.

Pye has worked at Just Born for the past 15 years.  His earlier experience included sales and marketing functions at Fleer Confections, Warner-Lambert and Unilever.
