VISTA, CA -- NuZee Inc. said Japan's Fuso Industries Co. Ltd. and Nasa Corp. subsidiary have granted NuZee the exclusive North America rights to use their Fuso machinery brand in manufacturing its Coffee Blenders line of single-cup Drip Cup pour-over coffee products.

Vista, CA-based NuZee, which operates as Coffee Blenders, began selling its Drip Cup line of functional coffees in the U.S. and Asia in 2015. Nuzee estimates the Drip Cup market in Japan to be approximately 2.3 billion cups per year, with the majority of them manufactured by the Fuso brand Drip Cup packing machine.

"We are very pleased to formalize our relationship with Nasa, whose technology we have utilized for the last several years," said NuZee president chief operating officer Travis Gorney. "The Drip Cup is a common and popular brewing method in Asia and we are encouraged by the reception it has received in the United States. The portable Drip Cup is ideal for campers, college students, outdoor enthusiasts and coffee-lovers in general, and allows consumers to conveniently craft quality gourmet coffee virtually anywhere."
