ORLANDO, FL -- Intercard hosted its annual kick-off party at the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions' 2018 Attractions Expo here. Themed "Family Fiesta," the gala was attended by more than 350 representatives of Intercard's worldwide family of customers.

Staged at Rocco's Tacos  Rocco's Tacos and Tequila Bar on Restaurant Row in Orlando's Dr. Phillips entertainment district, the Intercard party featured a lavish Mexican taco and guacamole buffet.

Intercard used the occasion to mark the release of its new Edge mobile apps collection, which the company commemorated by handing out sustainable drinking-straws (made of aluminum). These proved popular with the  company's international clentele.

"The Intercard Family Fiesta has become a hot ticket on the IAAPA party circuit," said Lynda Brotherton, global marketing director for Intercard. "In our first year, we had 250 guests –  and the next year, we had 500 because word-of-mouth drew an overflow crowd. This year, we kept it to a manageable 350 guests who were thrilled  to greet old friends and make new ones.

"We were also proud to introduce several new team members and have some fun before the show got into high gear," she reported.
