Intercard Debuts New Logo, Campaign At IAAPA Attractions Expo

ST. LOUIS, MO — Intercard has announced that it will unveil its new marketing campaign at the upcoming International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions 2018 expo. Themed "Leading the Way," the campaign will kick off in the company's new booth (# 1324), updated to offer visitors increased comfort and convenience.

"Leading the Way" is a fresh message that underscores our position as the world leader in cashless technology," said Intercard chief executive Scott Sherrod. "We introduced debit card technology to the amusement and attractions industry in 1989 and we have been leading the way ever since with our technology innovations and customer service."  The company went on to pioneer networked systems, self-service kiosks, support for e-tickets, and customer tracking and redemption control systems.

The new logo will be introduced in the company's modernized IAAPA booth, along with new products and new team members.

Sherrod pointed out that the term "cashless" replaces "debit card" in the tagline of the new logo. "That's to emphasize that the debit card is no longer the only cashless way to pay," he explained, "and to affirm Intercard's commitment to giving our customers the benefits of mobile devices and other innovations in payment technology."

The new booth, styled like an executive lounge, features a "training and technology bar" where guests can watch training videos and receive one-on-one tutorials from Intercard technical specialists. Guests can also relax in the technology bar while recharging their mobile devices and enjoying complimentary water, coffee and espresso – as well as premium beer from Intercard's hometown of St. Louis.    

Intercard is a leader in cashless technology for the attractions and amusement industries, with hundreds of systems, thousands of readers and millions of cards in use in more than 4,000 locations around the globe. The company was founded in 1979, and now has branches in Europe and Asia.
