HERSHEY, PA -- The newly formed International Association of Trampoline Parks is planning its first annual conference and trade show for Oct. 23 and 24 in Scottsdale, AZ, and is inviting industry innovators and educators to submit proposals for educational presentations at the inaugural event. The first IATP convention is expected to attract decision-makers from the fast-growing public trampoline court segment of the entertainment industry.

IATP executive vice-president Tracy Sarris explained that the association is especially interested in presentations on subjects related to insurance, financing, marketing, the mix of attractions and the integration of related activities such as arcades and redemption, party and other event catering, laser tag and the like as additional profit centers at a trampoline park.

Proposals should be submitted by Friday, Sept. 6. This can be done online by visiting the IATP website by clicking here to get a contact form. They also may email Sarris at, or call her at (717) 533-1945.

The inaugural educational program planners are eager to hear from speakers knowledgeable about the topic and willing to share interesting, exciting ideas and techniques. Each presenter will receive a free badge for the two-day conference and an invitation to the first annual industry dinner. Presenters will also be offered tables at the trade show.

IATP was organized by trampoline park pioneers who have devoted two years to help with the development of trampoline safety standards by ASTM International (formerly the American Society for Testing and Materials). The founders' initial objective is to engage state and federal regulators in order to influence effective policies promoting the operation of safe, successful trampoline courts.

The 1st Annual IATP Conference is set for the DoubleTree Resort Paradise Valley in Scottsdale. The group's headquarters mailing address is International Association of Trampoline Parks, P.O. Box 594, Hershey, PA 17033.
