HOLLYWOOD, FL -- Vending machines at all city-owned buildings in Broward County's Hollywood, FL, will soon comply with new nutritional guidelines.

At least 30% of the products in each machine will meet the American Heart Association's recommended standards for food and beverages offered in the workplace. Another 20% will meet at least one of the recommended standards.

The new rules, conceived by Hollywood Mayor Peter Bober, will impact the city's 45 vending machines, which are operated by Miami-based Gilly Vending.
