Heartland Payment Systems Taps Michael McMillan Chief Branding Officer

vending, Heartland, Michael McMillan PRINCETON, NJ -- Heartland Payment Systems Inc. has hired renowned marketing expert Michael McMillan as its chief branding officer. He will be responsible for building brand preferences for Heartland products and services, among other marketing initiatives.

Heartland is the fifth-largest payments processor in the U.S., serving more than 275,000 businesses and educational locations. It's also one of the cashless vending processors used by Crane Merchandising Systems.

From 1984 to 2004, McMillan was chief executive of McMillan Associates, a visual communications firm he founded. More recently, he has toured globally as an inspirational speaker and was president of McMillan Media, which focused on thought leadership. His clients included Fortune 100 corporations, small entrepreneurs, sports and music stars, and nonprofit organizations.
