Harold W. Young To Host New England OCS & Water Expo On March 4

NATICK, MA -- Vending and OCS broker Harold W. Young will display product and equipment for the workplace refreshment market at its New England OCS & Water Expo next Thursday, March 4. It will run from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hampton Inn at 319 Speen St. in Natick, MA, near the firm's corporate headquarters. The vending sales company will also present a business-building seminar series.

Guest speakers will conduct seminars throughout the day to bring operators up to date on pods, filtration and the newest developments in OCS and pure water equipment.

Roger Stewart, National Automatic Merchandising Association's director of coffee and water service, will kick off the event at 1:15 p.m. with a discussion of the opportunities in coffee service. He will also raffle off a free one-year membership to the vending association.

At 2 p.m., Don Eggebraten, vice-president sales of Urnex, will shed light on boosted sales revenue from selling coffee equipment cleaning supplies.

Kool Tek national sales manager Cliff Rosen will follow at 2:45 p.m. with an overview on the profit potential of point-of-use coolers and a primer on ozone and ultraviolet sanitizing.

Teaming up at 3:30 p.m. to discuss the ins and outs of providing pure water in the workplace will be Everpure director of sales Jim Nelson and eastern regional sales manager John Hiner. Participants will have a chance to win an Everpure home water filtration system.

Jason College, national sales manager for Newco, will speak at 4:15 p.m. about the benefits of single-cup pod brewing and how to deliver choice to office workers with fractional pack coffee. College will award two Newco coffee brewers to operators attending his session.

Presenting the final seminar at 5 p.m. will be Mark Marino, product manager -- coffee pods, Baronet Coffee, who will detail the pod opportunity. The event wraps up with a roundtable discussion on the day's hot topics and a cocktail reception.
