WATERBURY, VT -- Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. and Krispy Kreme have reached a multiyear agreement to deliver the doughnut chain's signature coffee in K-Cup packs for use in Keurig single-cup brewers.

Krispy Kreme K-Cups -- in "smooth" and decaf varieties -- will be available in away-from-home channels in the United States by the end of 2014. They'll also be sold in grocery and other retail stores, on the Keurig and Krispy Kreme websites, and in participating Krispy Kreme shops.

Krispy Kreme, headquartered in Winston-Salem, NC, was founded in 1937. Its doughnuts and coffees have a wide following at 800 retail shops in more than 20 countries.
