BAY CITY, MI -- Gold Standard Games/Shelti has signed a three-year agreement with the American Darters Association (St. Louis, MO) to promote the Shelti Radikal Darts system. The partnership will commence with a series of ADA/Shelti regional championships in 2014.

The Radikal Darts online system is licensed by Shelti from Gaelco Darts SL (Barcelona, Spain). The system incorporates cameras, a video display and a laser projector, and is networked through a remote server so players in different locations can compete in real time. The Radikal system software has been updated to be fully compatible with ADA league play.

"Our main objective is to create a more simplified, casual and competitive ADA member experience through the Radikal system on the Shelti machines, both for our weekly leagues and for online competition," said ADA vice-president Karl Remick "One of the great features of the Radikal system is its own patented 'remote referee' system with laser throw line for both tournament and ADA league play."

ADA chief executive Gloria Remick explained recalled that Shelti dart machines have been big part ADA's local and nationwide events since the association was formed. "We are excited to have them play a bigger role with our association in the future," she said, and reminded soft-tip dart enthusiasts that those who did not make it to the ADA national tournament this year missed out on the chance to experience the brand-new Shelti "Touch Machine" with the latest Radikal system programming. The board incorporates the ADA Neutralizer system and ADA national championship format and games in firmware on the controller.

"The ADA/Shelti Radikal partnership will bring the entire sport of soft-tip darts into an explosive future," predicted Shelti/Radikal's Dan Larson. "We will bring the entire world together, along with a patented 'Remote Referee Laser System' and online programs that only a partnership of this magnitude could accomplish."

The ADA/Shelti Radikal partnership was formally announced at the recent ADA Regionals held near Kansas City, MO early in December.
