ROSH PINA, Israel -- On Track Innovations Ltd. said it is shipping the GoBox, a machine-to-machine cashless payment and telemetry gateway designed for vending equipment.

GoBox's integration is designed for unattended machine operators who require a modular and robust M2M gateway with enough processing power to stream "full-HD" media, and one that can support Linux or Android operating systems. Linux and Android provides GoBox with scalability and enable the "porting" of additional applications to existing machines. GoBox also is compatible with OTI's cashless payment readers.

GoBox opens up potential new revenue streams for operators, explained Neil Barr, OTI's head of marketing and innovations. Such streams might include video advertising, promotions, loyalty programs, social media interactions, contests and gaming. The system also provides a display solution for calorie and nutritional data.

GoBox provides several communication options, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Ethernet. It can be customized with single, dual or quad core processors. The machine interface can support MDB, DEX and JVMA, among other standards. The cellular connectivity module supports 2G to 4G LTE, suitable for rollouts in any region of the world.
