ATLANTA -- Gimme, well-known for its vending management technology, reports that it has closed a seven-figure contract for its Gimme Key wireless DEX adapter for direct-store delivery operations. The transaction was made in partnership with HighJump (Bloomington, MN), a global provider of supply chain solutions.

According to Gimme, the agreement increases its DSD deployment presence to “tens of thousands of driving routes.”

“We are beyond excited about this contract,” said Gimme cofounder and chief executive Cory Hewett. “It now establishes the Gimme Key as the number one wireless DEX device in the world based on deployment.”

The Gimme Key is a durable wireless DEX adapter that uses Bluetooth Low Energy technology to seamlessly connect to any compatible iOS, Zebra, Android or Windows device without cables or charging. The Key is compatible with both consumer and “rugged” devices. In addition to grocery delivery, Gimme is well-established in the convenience service industry -- vending, micromarkets and office refreshment services -- working with  a range of operating companies from small businesses to large banner brands. Its products for workplace food and beverage service providers include Gimme VMS real-time management software and Gimme AutoDrive, an AI and computer vision tool that recognizes products and their shelf locations using a tablet or smartphone.

According to the company, its Gimme Key (DSD) has become a leading wireless DEX adapter for companies and their resellers who deliver short-shelf-life products to grocery and convenience store locations. Click here for more information on Gimme’s DSD products and solutions.
