Futurist Mike Walsh Will Put Accelerating Technology Into Industry Context As NAMA Show Keynoter

CHICAGO -- Futurist Mike Walsh will explore the role new technologies will play in convenience services channels as the keynote speaker at the National Automatic Merchandising Association’s upcoming NAMA Show.
 
The NAMA Show takes place Apr. 24-26 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. Walsh will deliver his keynote address during the opening session from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24.
 
Walsh will present a vivid portrait of a brave new world orchestrated by machines that think, and explore how tomorrow’s leaders can upgrade their capabilities to survive and thrive in an age of accelerating technology.
 
He is chief executive of Tomorrow, a global consultancy on designing companies for the 21st century. He advises leaders on how to thrive in the current era of disruptive technological change. He travels more than 300 days a year worldwide, researching trends, collecting innovation case studies and presenting on the future of business.
 
Previously, he founded Jupiter Research in Australia, and has also held senior strategy roles at News Corp. in the Asia Pacific Region.
 
He is the author of Futuretainment and The Dictionary Of Dangerous Ideas. Each week he interviews provocative thinkers, innovators and troublemakers on his weekly podcast, Between Worlds.
