PLANO, TX -- PepsiCo's Frito-Lay division is kicking up the heat with new Cheetos and Lay's snacks that expand its licensing partnership with the famous Tapatio hot sauce brand. The new Lay's Tapatio Limon potato chips and Cheetos Tapatio cheese puffs are flavored with red chili peppers, spices and garlic -- the same ingredients used to create the original Tapatio hot sauce recipe that is a staple in homes and restaurants across the U.S. The Lay's variety also adds the tangy twist of lime juice.

The new snacks are now available in the western and central regions of the U.S. Lay's Tapatio Limon is available in single-serve 2.875-oz. bags and Cheetos Tapatio snacks come in 3.75-oz. packages; both are also available in larger multiserving bags. They join Ruffles Tapatio Limon potato chips and Doritos Tapatio flavored tortilla chips.
