SAN DIEGO -- Fresh Healthy Vending International Inc. said its Reis & Irvy's frozen yogurt vending machines are now available for franchise preorders. The fro-yo machines serve up nine flavors and a choice of six toppings, allowing dozens of possible combinations. Its interactive, robotic design makes it a visual spectacle for consumers of all ages, according to FHV. A touchscreen ordering process accepts major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Wallet.

FHV said franchisees will be offered in different tiers of packages. The minimum "part-time" package will include four machines for $140,000 (each unit comes with a price tag of $32,500 and a per-unit franchise fee of $2,500). A "full time" package includes eight machines for $280,000.

Malls, quick-serve restaurants, hospitals, theme parks, movie theaters and supermarkets are among the target locations for the machines. FHV said it will use its current infrastructure, to replicate its franchise model and apply it to Reis and Irvy's, providing franchisees with location procurement services, national marketing initiatives, training and support.

The company will officially unveil the Reis and Irvy's machine at the International Franchise Expo, which opens June 16 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
