FEU Kicks Off New Year With Program Preceding Amusement Expo

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ -- The celebrated Foundations Entertainment University educational program will conduct its first session of the new year on Feb. 5-6, 2018, just prior to the opening of the 2018 Amusement Expo International.

Foundations will get underway at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday and conclude at 9:00 p.m. on Monday. This year's Amusement Expo opens with its education day on Tues., Feb. 7. Foundations will be held in the Las Vegas (NV) Convention Center's South Hall Room S219; AEI also will take place at the LVCC and the adjacent Westgate Hotel.

According to Foundations organizer and principal Frank (The Crank) Seninsky, the Las Vegas presentation will inaugurate the new Foundations University 2.0 and the program's 16th consecutive year.

"With more than 1350 graduates and more than 250 Family Entertainment Centers (FECs) that got their start with Foundations, the New Foundations University 2.0 is for newbies, FEC industry veterans, and service providers who want to learn how to be a part of the number three growth industry in the U.S.," Seninsky said.

New in "2.0" are more topics, more networking opportunities, more "what works and what doesn't" analysis, more site visits, more emphasis on social media marketing, and profit-and-loss accounting for small, medium and large entertainment centers, Seninsky explained. The program also will announce a series of webinars and an expanded interactive website.

Online registration is available now. Those who register by Jan. 31, 2018 can benefit from an early bird rate of $395; the fee increases to $495 as of Feb. 1. It covers two days and two evenings of educational workshops. including one-on-one consultations with instructors, as well as dinner on Sunday and lunch and dinner on Monday.

Registration includes a free Amusement Expo pass for the Tuesday seminars and the trade show on the following two days, as well as the co-located National Bulk Vendors Association conference and trade show. This is a $175 value. FEU registrants also have the option of attending the Laser Tag Convention's Tuesday seminars, a $225 value, for a $20 donation to the Laser Tag Museum.
