NEW ORLEANS -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association’s Coffee, Tea and Water Show (CTW) will be held Nov. 12-14 (Monday,-Wednesday) at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans. The annual educational conference and tradeshow will once again co-locate with the International Bottled Water Association’s annual business conference.

CTW’s education and tradeshow explore and showcase new products, technologies and industry trends that are impacting business and driving change in the coffee service industry.

This year’s highlights include an inaugural Coffee Crawl to help showgoers experience the finest flavors of New Orleans before diving into the educational programming.

Also new this year is The Essence of Coffee, an immersive educational experience that will take industry professionals from the origin of coffee through taste profiles to the total customer experience. Other education topics include: bean to cup; technology trends in OCS; water taste and quality; sustainability; and consumer trends.

Former Starbucks president Howard Behar will kick off the Coffee, Tea and Water Show as the opening session keynote speaker on Monday, Nov. 12 at 3:30 p.m.

A well-rounded lineup of educational session will feature more than 20 industry experts who will share their insights on trends in OCS, bean-to-cup strategies, technological advancements, packaging innovations and more. Representatives from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will provide an update on 2018 Energy Star guidelines for coffee brewers, vending machines and water coolers.

The tradeshow floor will be open on Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 12:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Showgoers will have plenty of opportunity to mix and mingle during numerous networking and socializing events. Among these will be NAMA’s Women in the Industry group event, featuring yoga and a round table discussion to foster peer-to-peer networking on Tuesday morning.

The NAMA 365 mobile app (select CTW after opening it) provides planning tools for operators to maximize their time before and during the event.
