SINGAPORE -- Embed has announced the appointment of LaDonna Whitaker as head of its North American and South American sales divisions, and has augmented its salesforce to further strengthen its position as a leading international provider of cashless business management systems and solutions for the amusement, entertainment and leisure industries.

Whitaker brings extensive experience in technology sales to her new post. Early in her career, she was active in the expansion of Expedia's corporate division. She then worked with Virgin America during its initial growth, which culminated in its initial public offering.

Joining Whitaker's team is Susan Hesson, who is appointed sales executive. Hesson is a 20-year veteran, with extensive experience in sales management and technology.

Another new team member is Carl Ewaskowitz, whose two-decade career has thoroughly familiarized him with event planning and sales administration.

Embed has spent the last quarter reinforcing its global organization to meet the ever-growing demands of its customers and the industry. The substantial expansion of its sales force supports this effort, as does Embed's plan to increase its participation in industry trade shows and other events around the world.

"We'll be introducing a number of exciting innovations that are designed to deliver an exciting guest experience," said Renee Welsh, chief executive of Embed's Solutions Group. "We are completely focused on providing tailored solutions to help operators drive more profits by increasing their revenue, reducing their costs and achieving their business goals."

Embed is a worldwide leader in cashless business management systems. Its platform is designed to give managers of single and multiple-location businesses real-time visibility and control across the entire operation, and to support upsell packages, bundles, games management, real-time prize inventory, game card kiosks and more. All functions are integrated and accessible through mobile devices.
