LONDON -- Building on the success of its first European Amusement and Gaming Expo early this year, the British Amusement Catering Trades Association reports that it is redesigning the exhibit area and unveiling a new website. The second EAG is set for Jan. 25 through 27 at the ExCel London exhibition center in the historic Royal Docks area.

Martin Burlin, a past-president and honorary lifetime member of BACTA, again is serving as chairman of EAG Expo. "Before we relaunched the show, we took a lot of time to prepare and get things right for the coming year," Burlin explained. “This involves a lot of research and discussion with exhibitors and visitors."

Last year's inaugural show was a "fantastic success," Burlin reported. But there is always room for improvement, he added, and the recommendations received from participants in the 2010 event have been studied carefully and incorporated into this year's plan.

In particular, Burlin observed, the new website "is cleaner, easier to use and just does a better job." It encourages simple navigation from the homepage to an online visitor registration form, exhibitor enrollment and instructions, the exhibit floor plan and much more.
