MT. PROSPECT, IL -- Cummins-Allison has expanded its line of JetScan iFX currency sorters with a model that accommodates up to nine pockets in a space-saving vertical configuration.

With a footprint just slightly larger than a desktop sorter, the high-speed iFX i400 is user-configurable from three to nine pockets in the same space. Operating modes and pocket configurations can be changed using a touchscreen display.

The machine processes 1,000 notes a minute, which the company says is 39% faster than its closest competitive unit.

Other iFX features include advanced counterfeit detection, the ability to capture serial numbers from every note for tracking, and the ability to process checks and currency on the same machine.
