SOUTH ST. PAUL, MN -- New from Crane Vending Solutions Distribution are two versatile combination venders in the company's GPL and Automatic Products lines. Both are offered in five- and six-shelf models, and can dispense candy and snacks, packaged cold beverages and food.

The AP Ultra-Flex and GPL Fusion incorporate state-of-the-art Dixie-Narco refrigeration systems, and are manufactured with 100% injected foam to perform to the Tier 1 Energy Star standard originally developed for cold beverage venders. Both deliver low power consumption, fast temperature pulldown, consistent temperature performance, reduced cycle times and long compressor life.

The new combination venders can serve as powerful sales tools for operators in an era of high energy costs, Crane pointed out. In addition to their efficient refrigeration systems, they incorporate LED illumination and customizable energy-saving modes. According to the manufacturer, product testing has demonstrated that the design can provide $174 in annual energy cost savings when compared with similar equipment.

The AP Ultra-Flex and GPL Fusion also incorporate timesaving service features to enhance productivity in the field. Each is manufactured with Crane legacy shelves, motors, spirals, control board and 2x20 display. These have demonstrated field performance of 99.9% uptime, based on service calls per year, Crane reported. Most parts are common to other Crane glassfront equipment. Both models are covered by a two-year parts warranty and three-year warranty on the compressor.

"The energy-efficient 'green' machines, with classic Crane components, provide superior value and a competitive edge for customers in the marketplace," said Crane Vending Solutions Distribution regional sales director Bryan Aune.

Fusion joins the GPL line and Ultra-Flex the AP line to complement the wide variety of equipment available through local distributors. Information may be had from AP and GPL distributors by calling (800) 523-8363; or by visiting or
