Orduz CHICAGO -- International coffee industry leader Juan Esteban Orduz will deliver the keynote address at the National Automatic Merchandising Association's 2013 Coffee, Tea and Water conference. The event will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, TN, Nov. 12 through 14.

Orduz presently serves as president of the Colombian Coffee Federation Inc. (New York City), the North American subsidiary of the Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia (Bogotá). A leading authority on the business of coffee, Orduz has held a number of high-profile posts in the Colombian government and the private sector. He is a past president of the National Coffee Association of U.S.A. (New York City).

"Juan Esteban is a coffee expert who will focus on the link between quality and sustainability -- an important topic, one of growing interest for our members," said NAMA director, coffee and water service Roger Stewart. Orduz will speak on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

The National Federation of Colombian Coffee Growers, founded in 1927, represents the interests of more than 563,000 coffee-growing families. It is one of the largest agricultural non-governmental organizations in the world, working to improve the well-being of coffee growers and their families by providing assistance in sustainable and competitive practices within the coffee industry, as well as promoting social investments. It maintains overseas offices in the U.S., The Netherlands, Japan and China.

NAMA's Coffee, Tea and Water conference is the largest education and networking event for coffee, tea and water service operators nationwide. Again this year, it will co-locate with the International Bottled Water Association's annual business conference and trade show.

Registration for the CT&W conference is available here.
