GENEVA, WI -- The Club Lucky Group will hold its second annual Preferred Vendor Event on Friday, Oct. 22, here at the Grand Geneva, the same AAA Four Diamond resort, between Chicago and Milwaukee, which hosted last year's event. The 2010 program runs from noon to 4 p.m. and will feature cocktails and lunch in an atmosphere designed to promote networking among Club Lucky operators and product suppliers.

Following the Preferred Vendor Event, Club Lucky's best players from across the country will compete in the Tournament of Champions III. At stake are the group's national championship titles for Golden Tee Live and Silver Strike Bowling. The video golf and bowling contests are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m., with the luck of the draw.

Club Lucky Group LLC is comprised of 35 amusement vending companies that conduct national tournaments and contests on coin-op games, and award prizes to players. Its primary emphasis is on tavern and restaurant accounts. Founded in 2006 at a meeting held in the restaurant that inspired its name, the cooperative group serves more than 7,000 locations with over 40,000 machines. Larry Elbert of Camden Amusements (Cedar Rapids, IA) is president.

Club Lucky said all leading coin-op manufacturers and suppliers are invited to this year's Preferred Vendor Event, but it advises that space is limited. They can register at
