Player One Amusement Group TORONTO -- Cineplex Entertainment subsidiary Cineplex Starburst Inc., one of North America's largest distributors and operators of amusement and vending equipment, has been rebranded. As of early November, CSI and its sister business units -- Brady Starburst LLC, Premier Amusements and Tricorp Amusements --began running under the new name Player One Amusement Group.

Previously operating as four businesses, Cineplex's amusement units have been joined into a single company that delivers entertainment and amusement gaming solutions for customers across North America and internationally, the company reported. Player One Amusement Group provides equipment sales and distribution, route operations, parts and service, along with merchandising and consulting.

The rebranded vertical organization will be identified by a new company logo (pictured here). It also launched a website for existing and new customers.

Headquartered in Toronto, Player One employs 500 people and maintains 21 offices in Canada and the United States. It claims to have 27,000 machines operating in 2,900 locations. It specializes in providing interactive amusement devices to theatrical exhibition clients, as well as to community-based entertainment destinations such as bowling centers, restaurants, arcades, shopping malls and water parks.

Its parent company, Cineplex Inc., mainly operates motion picture theatre circuits. It owns 163 theatres with 1,667 screens that entertain about 77 million guests annually. Cineplex is also a joint-venture partner in SCENE, Canada's largest entertainment loyalty program. Cineplex Starburst Inc. acquired North Carolina's Brady Distributing Co. in March 2015 and New Jersey's Tricorp Amusements Inc. in September 2016.
