CC Vending Mourns Loss Of Founder Mike Cascione's Mother Chiara, Services To Be Held Today And Tomorrow

MT. VERNON, NY -- Chiara Cascione (Mt. Kisco, NY), died on Dec. 11. She was 89.

Born in Grumo Appula (Bari), Italy on Mar. 26, 1929. Chiara Cascione worked alongside her son Michael as the bookkeeper at  CC Vending, which he founded in 1989. She previously had applied her skills as a seamstress to a successful career in the department store business.

CC Vending has grown into a leading full-line vending and coffee service operation serving the greater New York metropolitan area from offices in Mt. Vernon, NY, and Hackensack, NJ.

She is survived by son Michael Cascione and daughter Margherita Nordstrom; grandchildren Anthony, Michael, Christopher, Jacqueline, Maria and Willie; and great-grandchildren Michael, Chase, Jordan, Fatima, Alexia and Madison.

To honor Chiara Cascione's life, her family and friends will gather today, Dec. 14, between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston  Post Road, Mamaroneck, NY, tel. (914) 698-5968. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15 at St. Vito's RC Church, followed by entombment at St. Raymond's Cemetery.
