Cadbury Schweppes Changes Unify Key Beverage Groups

PLANO, TX - Cadbury Schweppes's Americas Beverages group announced several management changes that will unify its previously autonomous Dr Pepper/Seven Up, Snapple and Mott's beverage business units, enabling Americas Beverages to better capitalize on its sales, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain and distribution expertise.


The new management structure, which realigns the duties of several key executives for greater synergy between the three beverage enterprises, goes into effect December 15.


Jack Belsito, currently president of Snapple and Mott's, assumes the position of president of the Snapple Distributing Co.; Jim Johnston, who is responsible for franchise and licensing, is appointed senior vice-president , strategy; current president of Dr. Pepper, Mike McGrath steps up to president of sales for Americas Beverages; and Jim Trebilcock and Michael Sands continue as the marketing heads for the Dr Pepper/Seven Up and Snapple/Mott's organizations, respectively.



An internal and external search will begin for a regional head of brand marketing for Americas Beverages.
