Boyd's Coffee Introduces Cold Brew Concentrate

PORTLAND, OR -- Boyd's Coffee is introducing a cold brew coffee concentrate for foodservice customers, offering a 12-month shelf life for easier shipping and storage.

Boyd's new cold brew is made with 100% arabica beans and is a 40% Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee blend. The roaster describes it as "combining a smooth and pleasant finish with cocoa and caramel notes." 

It's available in a 13.5-fl.oz. foil pouch in cases of 12. Once opened and diluted, it can be stored for seven days refrigerated and 12 hours ambient.

Boyd's explained that the coffee is "low steeped" in cold water in a refrigerated environment for a smooth flavor profile, with lower acidity than traditional hot batch brewing.
