SANTA MONICA, CA -- BoxScore Brands Inc., formerly U-Vend Inc., has named four senior executives to its advisory board. U-Vend announced last month that it had changed its name to BoxScore Brands.

The company, headquartered in Santa Monica, CA, operates Mini Melts-branded vending machines in southern California and Las Vegas, and has a licensing agreement with Major League Baseball to sell baseball-themed ice cream products through its vending machines.

New to its advisory board is Stephen Crystal, Esq., who invests, advises, consults and represents gaming clients worldwide in casino development, interactive gaming and gaming technology.

Also new to the BoxScore advisory board is Derrick Horner, Esq. He has practiced law for more than 20 years and is chief executive of H1 Ventures, an angel investment firm, where he advises early-stage companies globally.

Andras Petery, managing partner of Enable Ventures, a San Francisco-based early-stage venture firm focused on the intersection of sports and technology, is another new advisor. He was previously head of mobile business development and strategy at Yahoo!

Rounding out the new advisory board members is Brett Meltzer, chief operating officer of Everbowl LLC in Carlsbad, CA. He has held executive posts at Boulder Brands, Energizer and General Mills Corp.
