MIAMI, FL -- New at this year's Bowl Expo is a four-player virtual reality arena from Boxblaster, a startup company based here. Minibox, launched at the show by Boxblaster, comes with four games.

The new VR game's initial installation at Dezerland Park's VR Park in Miami has demonstrated the appeal of the system, Boxblaster reports, and the company now is ready to expand. Boxblaster offers Minbox for $45,000. The manufacturer notes that this is half the cost of comparative VR solutions for which providers charge operators two to three times the cost upfront for hardware and installation.

According to Boxblaster, its longterm partnership with operators includes a 25% revenue share that includes hardware updates every 24 months, a commitment to delivering four or more games per year, and full operational support.

"Minibox is a VR cash machine for locations who want ROI in six months," explained Boxblaster cofounder Vladimir Avdeev. The company reports that its artificial-intelligence-driven Replay Boost makes every game new and dynamic, thus, maximizing the incentive for repeat play.

Minibox is launching with four custom games that adapt to players in real time, adjusting the difficulty level to meet their skill. Waves of enemies and boss monsters change depending on the skills and number of players. Player positioning within the games is also randomized. Replay Boost AI is designed to keep Minibox games fun and challenging for everyone, every time, even after repeated plays.

"It usually takes VR companies two to three years to provide as much content as we are launching with Minibox," Avdeev said. "We keep players in mind, so we make multiplayer games with Replay Boost AI that appeal to all ages and skill levels."

Minibox HTC Vive Pro headsets and Nvidia 2070 graphic processors. The turnkey 225-sq.ft. arena (15' x 15') features contemporary design customizable for every location.
