CARLSTADT, NJ - Betson Enterprises has announced a partnership with Vagabond (Washington, DC) to distribute its technology suite of services for the convenience services industry.

The initiative comes on the heels of Fixturelite's exclusive production of small form-factor fixtures powered by Vaga­bond's vīv mobile POS platform. This combination expands Betson's offerings with a streamlined kiosk-less market solution targeting the hundreds of thousands of workplace accounts with 40 to 250 employees in the U.S. Vagabond's telemetry and VMS solutions, as well as its broader vīv Commerce platform, also will be available through Betson's national distribution network.

No checkout kiosk or tablet required for the consumer-friendly solution provided by the vīv Fixturelite Market, resulting in much lower operating expenses -- just $10 per month for a market of any size. With the vīv platform, operators can offer a payment solution more secure than cash, swipe or EMV technology.
