BALTIMORE -- Barcoding Inc. has announced a reselling agreement with TomTom Telematics, a fleet management solutions provider. Barcoding will sell, deploy and support TomTom Telematics' Webfleet line of fleet management and vehicle tracking solutions.

"TomTom Telematics delivers actionable intelligence to fleet managers, so they know where their vehicles are and what they are doing," said Matt Gunzenhaeuser, sales director at TomTom Telematics. "We are already helping companies save time and money, increase customer satisfaction, and promote safe driving habits. Barcoding's customers will enjoy increased visibility into their fleet operations with Webfleet."

Among TomTom solutions that Barcoding will offer are Webfleet itself, an online application that enables fleet management, 24 hours a day through any PC's Web browser, as well as the Link 530 vehicle tracking device, which provides both real-time and historical insight into when, where and how vehicles are used.

Also available will be TomTom's Pro navigation devices, which help save time and money by providing live traffic updates and turn-by-turn instructions, and the TomTom Pro 7150 Truck, designed to get fleets to their destinations by routing around known access restrictions for weight and dimensions.

Rounding out the list is the TomTom ecoPlus, which allows customers to view their fleets' carbon footprint through vehicle emissions, fuel consumption and engine trouble code reports.

All these solutions are deployed through Barcoding's GoLive Services model to ensure maximum system adoption and fast, predictable system rollout. Systems are then supported by Barcoding's StayLive Services, to maximize uptime.

"Barcoding welcomes TomTom Telematics to our industry-leading partner eco-system," said Barcoding, Inc. business development vice-president Ken Currie. "Our systems integration expertise in mobility brings extra value to the end user, as we can integrate Webfleet into clients' back-end business applications, making them more efficient, accurate, and connected."
