ATMIA Announces Second Annual ATMmys Marketing Awards Competition For International ATM Industry

SIOUX FALLS, SD -- The ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) has kicked off the second annual ATMmys, a marketing awards competition presented by the ATMIA International Marketing Forum (IMF) and dedicated to recognizing the hard work and creativity required to promote cash and ATM products and services to businesses and consumers worldwide.

"We received a slew of submissions for 2018 in which the talent we have housed within our industry was on full display," said Rebecca Hellmann, chairperson for ATMIA's IMF and director of marketing for FCTI Inc. "We look forward to seeing even more participation and innovation competing for this year's awards."

Contest entries will be taken for the three categories of Digital, Content and Video. Submissions will be evaluated by a team of impartial judges with extensive experience in marketing, design and journalism.

Overseeing the Digital section of awards will be Terry Palmer, owner of Palmer Graphics in Lafayette, LA. Palmer is an award-winning graphic designer, illustrator and fine artist with over three decades of experience in marketing and advertising design.

Video submissions will be judged by Annie Murmann, writer, strategist and owner for Luminary Creative and content producer for Digital River Media. Murmann has been a script writer, producer and marketing professional for over 18 years.

First, second and third place awards will be presented in all three categories. Winners will be announced at the 2020 ATMIA US Conference, Feb. 11-13, 2020, in Houston, TX. First place winners will be invited to present their campaign in a follow-up IMF webinar post-show.

"The ATMmys is an opportunity for industry marketers to have their work reviewed by marketing professionals and celebrate the creativity that exists within our industry," said Blanda Marketing & Public Relations chief executive and co-chair of the IMF Alicia Blanda.

Submissions for the ATMmys Competition must be placed by 11:59 p.m. CST on Jan. 8, 2020. All submissions must be from campaigns, advertising or marketing promotions posted or displayed after November 2019 and before contest close.

The cost for each submission is $10 for ATMIA members and $15 for non-members. All proceeds go toward furthering the education, strategies, promotion and understanding of Marketing for the ATM Industry.
