Arkansas Council Plans Annual Meeting In Hot Springs, Mar. 31-Apr. 1

HOT SPRINGS, AR -- The Clarion Resort on the Lake here will host this year's Arkansas Vending Council annual meeting and conference on March 31 and April 1.

The AVC board will meet from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 31.

The council's annual membership meeting and election will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday.

Following the membership meeting, legislative counsels Camie Boggen and Bruce Hawkins, DBH Management, will bring council members up to date on current issues of concern to the vending industry.

Cadillac Jack Hendrix will offer an informative and entertaining overview of the qualities required for success and the causes of business failure.

The business sessions wrap up with a presentation by National Automatic Merchandising Association senior vice-president of legislative affairs Ned Monroe, who will offer an overview of federal legislative and regulatory matters.

Registration is $75 a person, including spouses and guests. The box fee is $20 per person for a group outing to Oaklawn Racing & Gaming (Mar. 31, 1 p.m.) and the Belle of Hot Springs dinner cruise fee is $59 (Mar. 31, 7 p.m.).
