SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- Wireless transaction processor Apriva said its payments solution now integrates with ITC Systems campus card products. The ITC relationship expands Apriva's direct connections to campuses in North America, which now encompasses more than 1,100 partners.

Apriva's campus card platform allows schools to accept payments everywhere, expand shared revenue and create a seamless shopping experience. Its gateway can connect different payment devices to multiple processors, creating one control point with integrated reporting and management across a campus environment. ITC, which specializes in cashless "integrated transaction control," provides cash card management systems for closed institutional settings. It's the latest closed-loop campus card certification running on Apriva's gateway.

"Apriva's platform has enabled us to take advantage of credit card readers in vending machines that allow the acceptance of our one-card credential in a closed environment, like a school," explained ITC chief executive Cam Richardson. "We continue to expand our offerings with Apriva to accept our credential at credit card readers that are being utilized to charge for copies and prints, a first in the industry."

Apriva senior sales and marketing communications vice-president Stacey Finley Tappin added, "Students today want to be able to use their campus cards everywhere, from on-campus purchases at vending machines, laundry facilities, parking meters, bookstores and student unions to off-campus purchases at surrounding merchant locations."
