APi Promotes 3 To Emphasize Customer Service

(Posted June 29) - Automatic Products international, ltd. has announced three executive promotions in its U.S. sales, marketing and customer service operations. Jim Radant advances to vice-president , sales, North America; he had been vice-president of marketing. Radant is a 12-year veteran of the APi organization. In his new post, he will manage the company's U.S. and Canada-based distributors as well as key national accounts. He also will oversee APi's area sales managers, and will be responsible for corporate new business development. Sharon Deziel is promoted to director of marketing; she had been marketing services manager. Deziel, who has been with APi for six years, assumes expanded responsibilities for product development, advertising and promotion, market research, and managing the Marketing Department in North America. Peter Whitney moves up to the position of director of product support; he has served as technical service manager for the past eight of his 15 years' service with APi. In his new post, he will take on responsibiities for continuing oversight and improvement of the Product Support and Parts Department to meet new ISO 9001-2000 customer satisfaction standards.
