Andamiro's Baseball Pro Junior Offers Same Great Features In Compact Arcade Format

Bars, street spots, small gamerooms with limited space can now accommodate popular skill game
 
GARDENA, CA -- New from Andamiro USA Corp. is Baseball Pro Junior, a smaller version of the manufacturer's original Baseball Pro arcade game introduced a year ago. The compact model is now shipping to amusement operators nationwide. The original is still available.
 
"Operators asked us to make a smaller version of Baseball Pro, so here it is" said Andamiro USA Corp. president of sales Drew Maniscalco. "The Junior model is a good fit for bars and taverns, among other coin-op street locations, as well as entertainment centers looking to save space."
 
Baseball Pro Junior measures 33.8" W. x 70.8" D. x 89.3" H., compared with its predecessor's 43.3" W. x 92.5" D. x 110.2" H. dimensions, reducing the footprint by almost 40%.
 
One of Andamiro's specialties is integrating mechanical engineering and electronic design, which is evidenced by Baseball Pro's ability to simulate the real game. Baseball Pro Junior offers the same feature-rich gameplay as the original, which updates a classic arcade game genre for today's players. Andamiro's baseball lineup pays homage to the mechanical "pitch-and-bat" arcade machines of the 1950s.
 
The company's novel baseball bat interface and automatic pitching mechanism are key to the game's popularity. The player uses a miniature bat to hit the ball onto the playfield; they apply their skill to direct the ball away from the "out" holes, and into the base hit and homerun target openings. When they make a hit, runners advance from base to base. Good batting technique is rewarded with tickets. Audio play-by-play commentary and responsive illumination effects enhance the experience.
