MOKENA, IL -- The American Amusement Machine Association (Elk Grove Village, IL) and the Amusement and Music Operators Association (Crystal Lake, IL) have announced their continued partnership in Amusement Expo International, the leading North American spring trade show and educational conference for the amusement and entertainment Industry.

"Amusement Expo International has experienced year-over-year growth since debuting in 2010," said AAMA president Holly Hampton, Bay Tek Games (Pulaski, WI). "AAMA looks forward to continuing that trend, working together with our joint partner AMOA."

AMOA president Emily Dunn, Tom's Amusement Co. (Marietta, GA), added, "Leadership from both organizations have been working closely together over the past year to draft a new agreement symbolizing a renewed commitment to our industry to produce an exceptional event for exhibitors and attendees."

The show, which made its debut as Amusement Expo in March 2010, is now named Amusement Expo International to reflect its worldwide reach and focus.

Since its debut, AEI has striven consistently to deliver a high-quality experience to its growing roster of registrants and exhibitors. Among the major changes and enhancements implemented during its first decade are shifting to a three-day, mid-week schedule that now features one full day of education and a two-day exhibit; co-locations with the National Bulk Vendors Association, Laser Tag Museum and now the Virtual Reality component; and the expansion into family entertainment centers and other allied out-of-home recreation enterprises.

"We covered a lot of ground and had some great conversations," said AMOA executive vice-president Lori Schneider. "Those conversations explored some new concepts, and AMOA looks forward to further developing those concepts with AAMA over the coming months and year."

For 2020, Amusement Expo International will move to the Hilton New Orleans Riverside and Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. Education day will be Monday, March 9. with the trade show opening on Tuesday, March 10 and closing on Wednesday, March 11.

"What better way to kick off the next decade for AEI than in 'The Big Easy,'" remarked AAMA executive vice-president Pete Gustafson. Observing that the show's organizers have made great strides in enhancing the AEI experience for showgoers and exhibitors alike, Gustafson expressed his pleasure at continuing AAMA's partnership with AMOA to build an even better product for the future.

Amusement Expo International is managed by W.T. Glasgow, Inc. (Mokena, IL), which is online at www.wtglasgow.com .
