CRYSTAL LAKE, IL -- The Amusement & Music Operators Association's Coin-Op Cares Education and Charitable Foundation is now accepting applications for its Wayne E. Hesch Memorial Scholarships. The cutoff date for the scholarship applications is Feb. 13.

"Do you have someone in your family who is off to college this upcoming fall?" the Foundation asked. "How about one of your employees' kids, nieces, nephews, grandkids? Feel free to email a PDF of the application to a student, print one (or multiple copies) and hand them out to your employees to relay to someone they know," the Foundation suggests.

The Coin-Op Cares Education and Charitable Foundation has directed the Wayne E. Hesch Memorial Scholarship for more than three decades. Established to honor the memory of late AMOA president Wayne E. Hesch, A.H. Entertainers (Rolling Meadows IL), the program raises funds for college scholarships. Its goal is to award 50 $1,000 scholarships each year. More than $1.2 million in education assistance has been granted to college students since the program began.
