CRYSTAL LAKE, IL -- The Amusement and Music Operators Association's Coin-Op Cares Education and Charitable Foundation reminds industry members that applications for the 2019 Wayne E. Hesch Memorial Scholarship are due by Feb. 13.

"There is still time to apply," the association emphasized. "Feel free to email a PDF of the Hesch application to a student, print up one (or multiple copies) and hand them out to your employees to relay to someone they know." Click here to down load the application.

AMOA's Coin-Op Cares Education and Charitable Foundation has directed the Wayne E. Hesch Memorial Scholarship for more than three decades. Named in honor of the late Wayne E. Hesch, A.H. Entertainers (Rolling Meadows, IL), the program raises funds for college scholarships. Hesch, a past-president of AMOA, was a pioneer in the postwar coin-op music and amusement industry and played a leading role in strengthening its professional reputation.

Since the memorial scholarship's inception, more than $1.2 million has been awarded to college students, most of whom have a connection to the coin-op industry.
