PHILADELPHIA, PA — AMI Entertainment Network is conducting a contest that gives Tom Petty fans the opportunity to win An American Treasure, a limited-edition super deluxe four-CD boxed set that pays tribute to the world-renowned artist who died a year ago this month at the age of 66.

The 60-track set includes unreleased Tom Petty songs, live performances, alternate versions of hit songs, deep cuts, and a hardbound 84-page book with never-before-released photos and liner notes. Also included is the video for the previously unreleased song, "Keep a Little Soul." Music lovers can enter the contest now through October 17 by using the AMI Music app (available for iOS and Android) or by visiting an AMI jukebox.

Tom Petty left an indelible mark on the music world as a performer and songwriter. He is best-known for his band Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and he had an impressive solo career as well.

The new boxed set, An American Treasure, pays homage to his remarkable career. His wife, Dana Petty, and daughter, Adria Petty, are executive producers of the box set and were the primary catalysts for its development. Two Heartbreakers, Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench, curated the track list, along with Petty's studio collaborator Ryan Ulyate.

Petty's diverse musical career began in the mid-70s. He led the band Mudcrutch prior to forming Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in 1976. They went on to produce 13 studio albums through 2014. Many of Petty's greatest hits were produced with the Heartbreakers, including classics like "American Girl" (1976), "Don't Do Me Like That" (1980), "You Got Lucky" (1983), and many others.

Petty also produced three solo albums: Full Moon River in 1989, Wildflowers in 1994 and Highway Companion in 2006. One of his most famous songs, "Free Fallin'," was the first track of Full Moon River, his first solo album.

In 1988, Petty joined up with George Harrison's band, The Traveling Wilburys. This supergroup also featured Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison and Jeff Lyne.

AMI observed that An American Treasure is a must-have collector's item for any Tom Petty or American music fan. Contest entry is open through Oct. 17. Music fans can sign up from anywhere using the AMI Music app (available for download from Apple'sApp Store and Google Play) or by visiting their favorite AMI jukebox.
